Those ATCO people sure are on the ball. Just when we were thinking it was time to do something on natural gas prices, in pops Danny Schmode with a package of tips from ATCO on how to save money in times of high prices.
One way they recommend is to microwave cooking instead of oven cooking. Or slow cooker cooking or other small appliances. Save yourself a bundle that way, apparently. They even included a couple of recipes from the ‘blue flame kitchen’ for microwaves and slow cookers. That lentil and split pea soup looks pretty good! This week we could have a new video store opening, an old video store moving, a new drugstore expanding and a new video sports lounge opening all at about the same time. And Jim Emes seems to be working on all of them!
