Who was that passing out muffins and juice to all the elementary schoolkids last week? It was Weyerhaeuser employees, that’s who. The company chose the goodie giveaway as a means of celebrating National Forestry Week. It was just one of several special events and activities that went on during the week set aside to recognize the importance of the forests and the forest industry in Canadian life.
