Well, what can we tell ya, he was attacked by a baseball bat while walking to first base in a game last Wednesday. Elmer and the Cardinals were on their way to a 5 – 3 victory over the Eagles, but Elmer couldn’t finish the game. Will he finish the season? Depends whether that Achilles tendon is torn or just bruise.
