It wasn’t nearly as bad as the North Country Fair (as well as differing in a number of other important ways), but the weather at last Thursday’s Parkdale neighbourhood party did leave a bit to be desired. Clouds? Wind? Rain? You bet. Nevertheless, Roy and Tracy Ostermeier (and whoever may have helped them) deserve a lot of credit for getting it all organized for yet another year. Some Parkdale residents met their neighbours for the first time and others got better acquainted over barbecue and drinks, while listening to the frogs (the band) croak.
