First round of hockey tryouts finished
It was non-stop hockey down at the Arctic Ice Centre on the weekend for the ‘AA’ and ‘A’ team tryouts. Players showed up and went through drills Friday night, all day Saturday and then finished off on Sunday.
Wolves get a look at the talent
The Slave Lake Wolves held tryouts on the weekend and except for the goalie position looked pretty decent. The only goalie that showed up was sent back home to High Level, after failing to impress Wolves’ boss Larry Leganchuk.
