Beef producers hopeful
Word that live cattle under the age of 30 months could be crossing the border into the United States as early as January is a welcomed relief, according to one Flatbush producer who says dealing with mature animals still presents a conundrum for producers.

The Slave Lake Winterhawks’ undefeated streak is over, after a loss Saturday night in Hinton against the Heat. On Sunday the ‘Hawks rectified the situation with a victory over the Heat, the team they beat last spring in the league championship.
