Chevron Texaco selling Mitsue operation

Fox Creek Bandits’ player Tyler Scobey lost control of the puck on this breakaway against Winterhawks’ goalie Sheldon Ghostkeeper on Saturday night. Ghostkeeper held the Bandits to three goals in an 11 - 3 Slave Lake win.

Hot goalie not nearly enough for Fox Creek
It’s a downright shame that the Fox Creek Bandits can’t put together a decent team in front of their terrific goalie Ian Chwok. Chwok was his usual brilliant self in the Bandits’ game against the local Winterhawks on Saturday, but with only 10 skaters, his team wasn’t. The result was an 11 – 3 Slave Lake win.

Wolves lose in Dawson Creek, Chetwynd
The losing skid continued for the Slave Lake Wolves on the weekend. On Saturday they got pummeled 9 – 2 by the Dawson Creek Jr. Canucks. Sunday in Chetwynd the Icemen scored in overtime to edge the Wolves 8 – 7.
