Liberals and NDs drop candidates in
Unfortunately, the Liberals and New Democrats couldn’t find anybody local to run for them within the Lesser Slave Lake constituency. Both parties announced candidates last week who are not resident in the area – Doris Bannister for the NDs and Jon Pleckaitis for the Liberals.
Southshore residents to get sewer connections soon
Residents of the Municipal District on the south shore of Lesser Slave Lake will have sewage connections installed this December.

Sports Highlights

Junior curler Dylan Anderson throws a rock for his junior league team. The junior league teams meet after school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Adult teams meet three evenings a week at 7 pm. The Mixed league plays on Tuesday, the Ladies’ on Wednesday, and the Men’s on Thursday. The league is currently inviting curlers to register for a weekend bonspiel that begins Friday.
