The retail scenery in Slave Lake keeps shifting faster than a weekly newspaper can keep up. The latest blockbuster – confirmed last week by the principals – is that The Brick furniture and appliance store is coming to town.
Dialysis unit going up soon
Construction to add a dialysis unit to the Slave Lake Healthcare Centre will start within weeks.
Alberta Infrastructure has approved extra funding to build the addition, said Bob Cable, CEO of the Aspen Regional Health Authority (RHA).
