The Page
We hear that a certain Lakeside Leader employee has been working on a 1967 Ford Mustang for three years and it’s almost finished. It’ll be yellow, she says, and once the renovations are done, she’s going to drive around showing it off, “all summer.”
No doubt about it, some folks love their antique automobiles, and we have a hunch there are a few more of you out there polishing and painting and whatever else it is that goes into restoring old vehicles. If you’re one of those and you’ve got a gem hidden in your shop, let us know about it. We’d love to take some pictures and hear what it takes to put an antique back on the road. With spring just around the corner (isn’t it?), now would be a good time to get into this. Give us a dingle.

We’d like to say ‘thank you’ to Katelan Boisvert, who has been doing a work experience stint at The Leader for the past six months or so. She’s been doing our Kid’s Talk and Good Neighbour features regularly, as well as other odd jobs. Her final assignment was a story on the minimum wage in town, which we expect to be in next week’s Leader.
Thanks, Katelan, and good work!
