Census depends on ‘on-line’ response
Good news on the census front, for those who care about accurate population figures. If the electronic-response in the May 16 federal census isn’t up to par, Statistics Canada will follow up with the traditional door-to-door method of counting how many people live in the country.
Short staffing forces dialysis partial closure
Just eight days after its grand opening, the renal dialysis unit at the Slave Lake Health Centre was forced to close. Patients were turned away because there was insufficient staff to provide the service.
