Jr. Winterhawks win ‘B’ side of Beaumont tourney
Playing in a tournament in Beaumont the last weekend in March, the Pee Wee Jr. Winterhawks of Slave Lake came up with a ‘B’ side victory to add to their already successful season. Their record in the tournament was two wins and two ties.

Atom Rush go places, finish second in Olds
Slave Lake’s Atom Rush hockey team went two and one in the Tournament of Champions in Olds on the Apr. 1 weekend. Unfortunately, their only loss came in the ‘A’ side final.
