Slave Lake Ambulance EMTs Dave McCann and Sarah Clark were two of several ambulance personnel that hand delivered Christmas Boxes to the Re/Max office on Nov. 9. A part of Operation: Christmas Child, students at C.J. Schurter School filled hundreds of boxes and the ambulance crew volunteered their time to transport 200 of them from the school to the realty office. Clark was instrumental in marshaling her coworkers into action. The boxes will find their way into the hands of children in such places as Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Argentina.

‘Hawks lose at home

When the Slave Lake Winterhawks have lost in recent years, it’s always been on the road. With the stronger team that inevitably shows up at home, they have been consistent winners, and usually by a large margin.

Wolves lose to Beaverlodge in overtime
