The Municipal District 124 was only too happy to clear the way for Santa Claus in the Christmas parade last Friday. It took around six hours to dress this truck up with a collection of MD and donated lights. This entry is called ‘Plowing for Santa’ yet, curiously, there is no plow to be seen.

Slave Lake’s senior men’s team got back on the winning track on Saturday with an 8 – 5 win over the Legal Vipers. It was their first win after four straight losses.
Hottest team in town wins two more
The Atom ‘A’ Thunder is running away with the Sturgeon Pembina regular season. Coach Les Price reports that after weekend action, the Thunder’s record stands at 11 wins, no losses and no ties, with 142 goals for and only 12 against.
