Further on the Jeff Ingram watch, the CTV program W5 will air a piece on Jeff and his memory loss situation on either Saturday Apr. 28 or Saturday May 5, at 7:00 p.m. If you haven’t heard, Jeff is the former Slave Lake resident who set out from his fianceé’s home in Washington State last October for Slave Lake but never made it. He turned up in Denver Colorado, not knowing who he was. Both CTV and MacLean’s magazine have been preparing stories on Jeff in recent weeks.

A man surrounded by green and growing plants in the middle of April has to be a happy guy, and we said as much to Ted Cofer when we visited his Ladybug Greenhouse in Widewater last Friday morning.
Sez Ted: “Yeah, now that the work’s all done!’
Good point, we had to admit. Somebody has to plant a few thousand of the little fellas, after all. The results are nice though, as you can see on the front page of this week’s Leader.
