Rubberboot Daze probably has enough coverage elsewhere in this paper, but here’s a small item on the winners of the Sawridge Inn’s Junior Sportsperson event, which was held in the hotel parking lot on the Daze Saturday. Chelsea Fedorovich won the 7 & Under Girls age group and Cruz McGregor won the boys. In the 8 - 12 group, the winners were Karissa Morgan and Hunter Lacombe.

Somebody called The Leader the other day to ask what happened in the July 3 trial of the person charged in the death of a pedestrian late last year. Turns out the trial was not on the regular Wednesday court day, which is the only one we attend. A call to the High Prairie courthouse got the information: the trial was postponed to Dec. 20.
