The Slave Lake RCMP, working closely with the newly established GIS unit (general investigations section) has solved numerous property-related offences that occurred throughout the year.
A 28-year-old man is facing 32 criminal code of Canada charges and two provincial violations for break and enter, theft, possession of stolen property, fraud, theft over $5,000, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, and more.
Police recovered approximately $30,000 worth of stolen property including two firearms. The investigation continues and more charges may yet be laid.
