Franklin’s Rockers rose to the top of the ‘A’ division in the slow pitch league this year, and captured the trophy by beating ‘B’ side winners, Spilak’s in a hard-fought battle Thursday night. Here the team and their families celebrate the win. League president, AnnEllen Eiserman says the final game was an “awesome end to a real good season.”

Franklin's Rockers capture '07 slowpitch title

It was an ‘easy win’ for Franklin's ‘A’ side champs when they faced off against the ‘B’ winners, Spilak’s last week. But even though officials invoked the ‘mercy’ rule when Franklin’s led by a 13-3 score after five innings, the teams played on.
