Lest we forget. About 250 people showeed up at the Slave Lake Remembrance Day ceremony on Nov. 11 to honour those who have fought and died in conflicts the world over. The ceremony took place at the Legion on Main St.

Wolves win 5-4 in shootout over Whitecourt
Slave Lake’s Jr. 'B' team got back on the winning track on Saturday in fine dramatic style, beating the Whitecourt Wolverines in a shootout.
Regular time had ended with the teams tied 4-4 and overtime also settled nothing.
