Tyler Warman had an adventure out on the disintegrating lake ice last week, looking for the missing Rotary Wheel. It disappeared sometime between 10 p.m. on May 2 and 8:00 a.m. on May 3. He wasn’t able to find it.

New diamond find 'encouraging'
Brian Testo, better known as ‘Griz’, is the man behind the latest discovery of diamonds in northern Alberta. His company, Grizzly Diamonds, reported last week a ‘highly encouraging’ result from a small sample of ore from a kimberlite formation about 45 kilometres northeast of Red Earth Creek .
Toxic accident dealt with quickly
A bad week for industrial accidents near Slave Lake ended with a single vehicle collision near the Mitsue Industrial Park on May 5.
