A charge of manslaughter has been laid against a Swan River man in what Faust and High Prairie RCMP are calling a ‘suspicious death.’
A July 5 memo released by Sgt. Mike NussBaumer of the High Prairie RCMP included few details of the incident, save for the following:
“Roy Rodney Twin, 38-years-old, died while en route to hospital.”
Nussbaumer went on to say that, a man, also from the Swan River Indian Reserve, has been charged with manslaughter.
Both the Faust and “K” Division Serious Crimes Unit are currently investigating the death that oocurred in the early morning of July 5. Police were notified by a resident who reported hearing suspicious activity and also gunshots early that morning.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information has been made available.
