It may be a bad year for pumpkins and other squashes (or so we hear), but for crabapples, it looks really good. This tree is at Bill Lafoy’s place in the northwest part of town, and it’s loaded with reddish-orange fruit. Bill’s dad Stu Lafoy planted the tree in 1967.

Two-bag limit now in effect
