Born:  Rosalie Battenfelder passed away on February 10, 2009 at the age of 68 in Edmonton, with a short courageous battle with Leukemia. Rosalie is survived by her sons: Lyle (Wendy) Battenfelder of St. Albert, Alberta; Lance Battenfelder of Smith, Alberta; daughter in-law, Barbara; Grandchildren: Matthew, April, Mikayla and Jon. Rosalie was predeceased by her husband, John (Jack) in 1985; her son, Larry in 2008; grandchildren: Taylor in 2003 and Kelsey in 2001. There will be a memorial service for Rosalie on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the United Church at #20 Green Grove Drive, St. Albert. Friends who so wish may make memorial donations directly to the Alberta Cancer Society, 11560 University Ave, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2. | |||||||||||||||||||
