Born: May 22, 1931  Betty Evans passed away peacefully on Aug. 17, 2008. Betty was born on May 22, 1931 in Peterborough, Ont. She moved to the Slave Lake area in 1946 and married Roy Evans in 1949. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Jack, sister Dorothy and daughter-in-law Ruth. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband of 59 years, Roy, as well as her children Lew (Liz), Chris (Dan), Bruce (Lynn), Brian, Darrell and Diana (Brian); 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were held Aug. 22, 2008 at The Gathering Place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. | |||||||||||||||||||
