Born:  On February 24, 2005, Mrs. Florence Ghostkeeper of Slave Lake passed at the age of 86 years. She is survived by 7 sons and 2 daughters: Len, John, Frank (Grace), Wayne (Wendy), Charles (Gloria), Frances (John), Jean (Dave), Lawrence, and Joseph; 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and 2 sisters: Mable, Bernard, John, and Catherine. Florence was predeceased by her husband Bernard, son Joey, grandson Bradley, 3 brothers: Arnold, Jerome, Jean and sister, Nellie. A prayer service was held on Monday, February 28, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Peter Celestin Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Celestin Catholic Church. Father Garry LaBoucane OMI officiated with interment following at the Slave Lake Cemetary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Slave Lake Long Term Care. | |||||||||||||||||||
