Gramlich, Sandra Louise

Born:
Passed: 2009

It is with immense sadness that the family of Sandra Louise Gramlich (nee Sarginson) of Slave Lake announces her sudden passing at the age of 46 years late last year. Sandie, formerly of Sherwood Park, will be forever be lovingly cherished by her husband Duane Hangartner, her son Shawn (Lacey) Gramlich, daughter Shantelle and Shantelle’s fiancé Scott Sinclair; parents Win and Wayne Sarginson, sisters Charlagne (Bob) Jensen and Shelley Flewelling, brother-in-law Eric Flewelling, nephews Brent, Gary, Brett and niece Taylor, as well as numerous relatives and friends. Sandie was a 19-year resident of Slave Lake; for 12 of those years she worked for the provincial government. A lover of gardening, she was also a big supporter of her son as a hockey player and coach and spent many, many hours at the Arctic Ice Centre as a spectator and volunteer. Sandie will be especially remembered for her love of family, friends and animals, as well as her generosity, sincerity and her overall zest for life. She was always positive, well organized and willing to lend a hand to whomever may have needed it. Sandie’s heartfelt smile, infectious laugh, kind eyes and compassionate nature will be deeply missed. Sandie was pre-deceased by grandparents Sig and Alice Johnson and Cecil and Marjorie Sarginson. Always in our memory and forever in our hearts.
