Born: ![]() With sadness we announce the passing of Isabel Johnson on Oct. 13, 2007 at the age of 74 years. Isabel is survived by her children, Mona, Brian, Lloyd, Stanley and their spouses, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren as well as six sisters and their families. Isabel was born in Mossbank, Saskatchewan and moved to Edmonton as a young woman. There she met and married her late husband Gene. In 1964 they moved with their family to Slave Lake and then Widewater. She worked at a number of jobs but spent the last 10 years of her career working as a camp cook. For the past 7 years she struggled with kidney failure. Isabel will be remembered for her kindness to all. She was a tolerant and understanding parent and a loving grandparent. At Isabel’s request there will be no funeral service. A family memorial will be held at a later date for Isabel and her late husband Gene. | |||||||||||||||||||
