Dave Miners of Slave Lake passed away at the age of 65 on Oct. 23, 2007 after a five year battle with leukemia.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Carol, his children Wayne (Sandra) Miners of Vegreville, Wanda Mitchell (Spencer) of Fox Creek and Wayne (Debbie) Bishop of Lac La Biche, his grandchildren Kyle, Candace, Keaton, Colby, Alasha and Jade. Survived by sisters Sue Hines, Beth Russell, brother Mark Morse, Aunty Edna of Belmont, Ontario and his mother-in-law Agnes Collins of Ingersoll Ontario; many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Ray and Verna Miners and Betty and Cliff Morse, grandparents Lawrence and Lela Miners, father-in-law Bryce Collins. Memorial service was held Sat. Oct. 27 at Elks Hall. Donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
