Born:  It is with great sadness the family of Donald Ophus of Canyon Creek, AB announces his sudden passing at the age of 73. Don is survived by his loving wife, Vivian; four children: Diane (Jerry), Joe (Linda), Julie (Lyle), Brenda (Grant); eleven grandchildren: Lisa (Cody), Rebecca, Tiffany (Mike), Jessica, Logan, Tyler, Stacey, Deanna (Nathan), Meagan, Darren, Jordan; two great grandchildren: Elizabeth and Benjamin; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. A memorial service was held at Widewater Community Complex, Widewater, AB on Monday, December 19, 2011. Cremation.
