Born:  It is with great sadness and sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Edward Amel Paleck. On May 26, 2008, Ed passed away at the age of 67 years. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Elsie, of 43 years. Ed is also survived by his three children Ed Jr. (Mariella); Ken; Dennis (Marianne); six grandchildren, Corey, Chris, Brian, Brett, Nicole and Jamie; by his brother Amil (Nadia) Paleck; sisters Joan (Lawrence) Drewniak; Frances (Gordon) Weselowski; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Ed was predeceased by his parents Paul and Lily Paleck. Ed was a long time resident of Slave Lake, avid golfer, wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa (papa) and friend. We will miss him dearly. A celebration of Ed’s life will be held on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Elks Hall, 416 - 6 Ave. NE. In lieu of flowers, donations in Memory of Ed, can be made to the Slave Lake General Hospital or the Slave Lake Gilwood Gold & Country Club. | |||||||||||||||||||
