Willis, Doris Burdell (Sand)

Passed: Oct. 6, 2008



After a long battle with Alzheimer’s, Doris passed away peacefully in the Slave Lake Hospital on Oct. 6, 2008 at the age of 87.
Doris is survived by her husband Sylvester of 69 years. Children: Lawrence, Shirley, Clifford (Judy), Joyce (Sid), Garry (Marry-Ann), Lorraine (Darrell), Bob (Pam), Melvin (Sheila), Bruce (Trish). Sister: Myrle Pizzey, Brother-in-law: Bob (Peggy), Sisters-in-law: Buella, Laura, Verna, Mildred and Fay.
Doris was laid to rest with her baby son Glen in the Hondo Cemetery.
We would like to thank Dr. Keaveny and Dr. Caffaro and the nurses at the Slave Lake Hospital for the wonderful care. Many thanks goes out to Sandy Cairns for the lovely eulogy, also for the great lunch that was prepared and served afterwards by Sandy and friends.
Doris will be greatly missed by all her family and friends that loved her.
