Plantinga, Doris Ruth Helga

Doris passed away after a ling battle with cancer at Spirit River Hospital. Doris spent her young life at Slave Lake. She was a certified Nursing Aide working in Grande Prairie where she met her husband Stewart. They were married July 30, 1966. They farmed north of Spirit River.

Doris was predeceased by her father Alfred Eben Sr. in 1981, mother Ailda in 1990, and brother George Eben in 1998. Doris leaves to morn her husband Stewart, son Daryll and wife Jan from Perthshire, Scotland, daughter Shirley and twin granddaughters Julia and Larissa, brothers Henry (Betty) Eben of Sundre, Alfred (Beverly) of Slave Lake, sisters Gisela Morris of Camrose and several neices and nephews.

Funeral services followed by cremation were held at Sevanna Friday, November 3rd at 2:00 pm. Donations may be made to the cancer society.
