On March 31, 2008, Carl Hall of Athabasca (formerly of Smith) passed away at the age of 98 years.
Carl is survived by his loving children Jack (Pearl) of Smith, Helen Perras of Athabasca, Floyd Hall of Calgary, Alma (Stan) Conrad of Slave Lake, and daughter-in-law Sally Hall of Utah. Also 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, one sister Eva Hicks of Ontario, one brother-in-law, Elva Hicks of Ontario.
Carl was pre-deceased by his wife Mary, son Kenneth, son-in-law Raymond Perras, brother Joseph, sisters Valina Hall, Alma Boe and Matilda Hicks and granddaughter Ellen Hall.
The funeral service was held on Apr. 3, 2008 at the Athabasca United Church. Reverend Bruce Jackson officiated. Interment followed at Athabasca Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Extendicare Athabasca. The Athabasca Community Chapel is in care of arrangements.
