It is with sadness that the family of Joe announces his sudden passing while vacationing in Mexico. Joe was predeceased by his beloved mother, Katherine, his wife Molly and his son Ron. He is survived and will be missed by his children, Gary (Janet), Barbara (Dale), Randy (Barbara), and Tammy (John). He will also be missed by his partner Geraldine (Gerry) Peck and her family as well as his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Joe spent his early life in Slave Lake, Alberta. He joined the Canadian Army during WWII and went overseas to serve our country in Europe. At the end of the war he returned to Slave Lake with wife Molly. Joe took up farming and in 1952 started a career as a Forest Ranger. He ended his career as a Fire Control Officer with the Alberta Provincial Parks and retired to Victoria with Molly in 1978. Joe enjoyed traveling, with Hawaii and Mexico being his favourite destinations. Victoria remained his home until the time of his death.
We will miss you Joe.
