Born is Slave Lake to Eliza Stoney and Archie Loyie. Laura had five sisters; Stella Loyie, Penny Loyie, Connie Loyie, Mae Loyie, Linda Mae Loyie (Al Spatz of Edmonton) and Brothers; Peter (Cecile) Loyie, Perry Loyie (Deidre Reiley), Michael Loyie. She had numerous nieces and nephews.
Laura was predeceased by her brother Bruce.
Laura was with the forestry warehouse for seventeen years between Peace River, Smith and Slave Lake. She became a computer technician three years ago.
She will be missed be allher family and friends.
