Carol Paige Lightburn
Mrs. Carol Paige Lightburn (nee COlvin) of Edmonton, (formerly of Slave Lake and Lacombe) passed away at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Ednomton on Saturday, February 16, 2002 at the age of 56 years.
Paige was born on August 3, 1945 in Cranbrook, B.C.. She was raised by her Uncle Arthur and AUnt Ruth Simmons in Salmo B.C.. Paice was united in marriage to Richard Lightburn on February 15, 1964 in Bonner's Ferry Idaho. She was involved in various groups like the Lacombe Lioness Club and St. John's Ambulance in Slave Lake. Paige held a very strong love for family and loved doing many different activities with them like camping and fishing.
She was predeceased by infant son Richard Darren in April 1967.
Paige is survived by her loving husband Richard, two daughters Denee (Don) Popow of Lacombe, Charlotte (Cyril) Fortney of Lacombe, son Greg (Karen) Lightburn of Blackfalds. She will be loved and forever missed by her most precious grandchildren James, Michael, Ryan Popow; Jessica, Clayton, Ayla Fortney; Cole, Jordyn, Wade Lightburn, also one sister Linda Merritt of Paradise Valley California.
