Mr. Skinner Gairdner late of Slave Lake passed away on Thurs., Oct. 18, 2007 at the age of 72 years. He is survived by his sisters, Linda (Gordon) McCauley, Judy (Art) Malone, and Betty (Bob) Tees; brother-in-law, Bernie Cameron and special nephew, Harold Gairdner; and his extended family at the Long-term Care in Slave Lake.
Skinner was predeceased by his common-law wife, Nancy Preston; dad, George Gairdner; mother, Catherine Gairdner; sister, Violet Cameron; and nephew, Danny Tees. Prayer service was held on Sun., Oct. 21, 2007. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Mon., Oct. 22, 2007 at the St. Peter Celestine Catholic Church, Slave Lake, with Father Charles Lavoie officiating.
