Carole Irene (Halwa) Bannister

She leaves to mourn her brothers Ed, Sig (Joyce), Gene (Shirley), Ted (Iris) and sisters Lucy Betts, Sophie Harner, Irene Houle, Janet Zorena and Mary (George) Gardener, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bill, sister Frances Cully and brother Maurice.

Carole taught school in Faust, Alberta for 35 years. Subsequently that school was named the Carole Bannister School. She was active in the Royal Purple, the C.W.L. Children’s Liturgy, the Quilting Bee-Levers and the Grande Prairie Golden Age Group.
