2020 Beautiful Gardens

Beautiful Garden number eight belongs to Laurie and Grant Pearson in Canyon Creek. They live on the family homestead which is on a hill overlooking the lake.
Their extensive rock garden started off with a pirate ship float for the Debbie Seppola Canada Day Parade in Canyon Creek. It has been extended to include a waterfall and other artistic mixes of rocks, plants, and artifacts.
The garden is also dotted with bird houses which Laurie built.

A wooden wheel barrow, antique scale, and bird house in the rock garden. Nearby there is also an anchor which was used on the Grant’s father’s fishing boat.

Laurie’s favourite birdhouse she’s made. Tree swallows nest in them each year.
