Corbin Frank wrestled well and learned from his mistakes and resulted in a bronze medal finish. Karlee Roy did well and picked it up near the end of the tournament to place bronze as well. Reuben Burton wrestled hard with grit to place bronze.”
Other notable winners, according to Doetzel, incude Kathy Ortiz who placed second, Ethan Drake ended up with a bronze, Liam Oneil also snagged a silver medal finish and Corbin McCann with a bronze.
“Newcomer Courtney Reason came up with the sole gold medal of the tournament,” says Doetzel. “Next tournament is March 11 – 12 and is the provincial championships in Calgary.
