Gilwood Golf Course held a successful fundraiser on May 27. It was a tournament with 144 golfers, and ‘hole hosts’ such as Mr. Mike’s, with its Taste of Lebanon booth, complete with people in costumes, Lebanese food and music! Other hole hosts were Gilley’s (with a mechanical bull), Rock of Ages and Bourbon Street. The money raised, says organizer Kelly Anderson, is for paying old bills and upgrades to the golf course.
