Agencies recognize their volunteers

Several organizations in Slave Lake took advantage of the annual Volunteer Appreciation Banquet at the Slave Lake Native Friendship Centre on Apr. 22 to publicly recognize and thank their volunteers. Pictured below are a few of them.

Victim Services

Hospital Auxiliary
Members of the Slave Lake Hospital Auxiliary who attended the event were (l. to r.) Bernice Allen, Shirley Lovelace, Colleen Olsen, Stella Boisvert, Janet Parks, Joy James, Bonnie Allarie and Heather MacLean. The Auxiliary raises money to purchase useful extras for the hospital.
