The Alberta government is making it easier for teachers, parents and students to search thousands of high school courses, province-wide. The government has developed an online course catalogue, says a news release.

The catalogue is called an ‘interactive tool’ that is compatible on mobile and desktop.

It will allow Albertans to browse through a list of over 3,000 provincial or locally developed courses related to various subjects.

Additionally, the catalogue will help students decide which courses to take, including career and technology studies, off-campus education and fine arts, says the release.

The authorized courses on the catalogue, pending school board approval, can be offered by any school in the province.

The catalogue can be viewed on the Learn Alberta website at curriculum.learnalberta.ca.
