Bad for Alberta

The haters of any kind of politics that isn’t conservative, tediously predictable as ever, were lining up with confident predictions of disaster even before the new U.S. President had done anything. Fortunately for them, Joe Biden gave them plenty of ammunition, canceling the Keystone XL pipeline within a few minutes of taking office. Not that they needed anything so substantial, with their minds already made up. But it certainly isn’t good news for the Alberta economy.

Nor does it mean the U.S. will use less oil. It will just keep buying it in large quantities from foreign suppliers.
