Beautiful Gardens of 2021

Andrew and Edith’s yard in Southeast Slave Lake has a variety of flowers, trees, shrubs, and a vegetable garden. On July 12, the various flowers were blooming, the vegetables were growing, and the saskatoons were almost ripe.

Tomatoes and cucumbers growing in straw bales. Edith had to prepare the bales for several weeks before planting the plants. This is her first year trying it.
