Canyon waterfront transformed

The waterfront area by the Canyon Creek hotel is looking very different these days. All the old fish hatchery infrastructure was removed in the winter, in a project organized by the M.D. of Lesser Slave River and paid for by the province.
Above is how it looked last summer. Below is the view about a week ago, with the creosoted timbers no longer there. The lake is much lower too.
