Cleaning up

The Town of Slave Lake’s spring clean-up program was moderately successful, with 11 groups taking part. Nearly 450 people got involved (335 of them from E.G. Wahlstrom School). The town did not ask groups to report how many bags of garbage they collected (this was done in some previous years), but they did hand out 471 garbage bags. Pictured above are members of the local Filipino community, who pitched in and cleaned up all along Main St. on May 11.
