C..c…c.. c.. cold!

The region was an ice box last week, and here is how it looked at about 3:45 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29, looking south along Main St. in Slave Lake into the sun, which was just about to set. Extreme cold warnings were out all over the land. Furnaces were blowing non-stop and plenty of vehicles needed boosting. But the great thing about the day this photo was taken was that at least the wind had stopped blowing.
