Christmas markets can be a fun way to get into the holiday spirit. Smith, Kinuso, and Slave Lake have markets. Moonlight Madness Market in Slave Lake is connected with a larger community Christmas celebrations.

November 17 and 18
Moonlight Madness Market is Nov. 17 from 6 to 10 p.m. and Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Slave Lake Multi Rec Centre (MRC) fieldhouse. Admission is free.

November 25
People can choose between two markets on November 25.
In Slave Lake, Vanderwell Heritage Place is holding a ‘Shop N’ Sip Market’ from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 25. This is open to the community. It is in the rec room.

In Smith, Sheila Willis is organizing a Christmas Craft, Collectable and Artisan Sale at the former Char’s Railway Cafe Building. This is Nov. 25 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Vendors can contact Willis at 780-805-1390

December 2
Main Street Craft Sale is in the Slave Lake Legion on December 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“You’ve got to have a craft,” says organizer Linda Kreutzer, about the vendors.

December 9
On December 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Kinuso Farmer’s Market is holding its Christmas sale in the curling rink side of the Kinuso Ag Complex. The poster says it will include food, artwork, gifts, and beading. The kitchen will be open if people want to buy lunch. To book a table, contact Sharon at 780-805-4905.

December 16
The final Christmas market in Slave Lake is on December 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All Seasons Market is holding a Christmas market that day in the Slave Lake MRC.
