Nine female leaders will speak from one stage at a one-day conference where people will be inspired and guided by women leaders who wish to share their insights, experiences, and revelations on how to be the best leader people can possibly be.

The event will take place on November 1 at the Legacy Centre in Slave Lake.

Robin Lee Vance, with the Lesser Slave Lake Community Futures, says this is the latest offering from the Leadercast team. She explains nearly 1000 women and men attended the event live in Atlanta and nearly 10,000 more attended at broadcast locations around the globe.

This year Leadercast Women will feature: Barbara Bush, Co-founder and Board Chair for Global Health Corps, Jenna Bush Hager, Founding Chair for UNICEF Next Generation, Clemantine Wamariya, a storyteller and human rights activist, Molly Fletcher, a CEO, keynote speaker, author and former sports agent Celeste Headlee, an award winning journalist, professional speaker and author, Julia Landauer, a champion NASCAR driver and President of Bhasin Consulting Inc., Jess Ekstrom, speaker and CEO for Headband of Hope, Marilyn Tam, a consultant, author and former executive at Nike, Aveda and Reebok and last but not least, Dana Barrett, a TV and radio host and business commentator.

The event will start at 9:30 a.m. and coffee, snacks and lunch are included.

Tickets to the event cost $75.28.

Vance says in addition to the broadcast, Community Futures will be hosting a Women in Business showcase in the atrium of the Legacy Centre.

Vance explains this will include booths featuring business women in the Slave Lake Region who will have the opportunity to share what they do and promote their business.
